Round Dropshot Lead
The Round Dropshot Lead is an indispensable piece of equipment for the serious predator angler. While bar leads are often better in vegetated waters, the round model excels on hard sand or rock bottoms. The round shape has a larger contact surface with the bottom, allowing vibrations and bottom conditions to be transmitted even better to your rod tip.
The lead is equipped with a special dropshot clamp (swivel). This eliminates the need to tie a knot: you simply tighten the line in the clamp. A major advantage of this is that you can change depths extremely quickly. Should you unexpectedly get snagged, the line will pull out of the clamp, and you will lose only the lead weight instead of your entire rig.
